Well, it's been over a year since I first posted about the French Wardrobe, so I thought I would do a quick post about how my style and desire for my capsule wardrobe has changed.
Midi skirts, boyfriend jeans, boxy tops, and spaghetti straps are my go-to's for this season, and contrary to my example images, I do like some color. When it comes to buying clothing, I'm going to try to stick to this color palette for easy layering.
One of my biggest challenges now is finding a balance between buying high quality pieces and ones that better fit my style. For example, I recently bought a boxy, white embroidered crop top from Urban Outfitters. I love it, but the embroidery is already coming loose, and I probably could have held out for a top that was a bit more pricey, but would stand the test of time better.
